UFC Shogun vs Henderson 2 - Amazing WIN by Hendo

If you are a long time MMA fan, you would know who these two legends are : Mauricio Shogun Rua and Dan Henderson. They are both legends in mixed martial arts world. They were both former champions both in UFC and PRIDE.

They had fought each other before in November 19, 2011 at UFC 139. That fight was still mentioned as one of the greatest fight in UFC. Both fighters were knocking each other down at each round and they were both noticeably gassed out after fighting at a high intense speed but both of them showed their warrior spirit and kept going until the fifth round.
Henderson won that first fight via unanimous decision and it was no surprise that UFC will eventually book them again for a rematch.

The rematch that everybody has been waiting for was on UFC Fight Night in Natal, Brazil this morning on 24 March 2014.


The fight was exactly as expected, both fighters knocked each other down. Shogun managed to knocked Hendo down twice in the first two rounds. Henderson showed that he can take hard hits and recovered fast. However at the third round, Hendo managed to throw a killing right hook to Shogun's face. Shogun fell backward and was in turtle defense position while Hendo threw hammer fists to his head. Herb Dean saw enough of it and stopped the fight.
