Theo Ginting Won his first boxing champion belt

On the 30th April 2014, Theo Ginting won his first boxing champion belt. He trained very hard for this fight and his hard work did pay off. His opponent was Elvin Marbun, a former PABA boxing champion and ranked no 3 in Indonesia.

Elvin has more fight experience than Theo but it does not deter Theo at all. Theo fought right according to his game plan. He was able to pick his shots and use his jabs to catch his opponent off guard.

The fight was schedule for 6 rounds and they fought hard all six rounds. At the end of the fight, the judges made their decision and Theo was given the nod. Theo got the champion belt around his waist.

Congratulations Theo. You will get more belts in the future. Train Hard.

Kix and Elite MMA coaching clinic

This morning at 30 March 2014, Elite Training Camp and Kix TV channel organised and conducted a FREE MMA coaching clinic on Car Free Day event on Sudirman street.

This event is purposed to promote KIX tv channel and Elite. It was a great event with alot of spectators from Elite members and car free day participants.

Elite Fighter at UFC Fighter Try Out

Back in March 2013, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) came to Indonesia to seek top Indonesian MMA fighters. UFC had been planning to expand its market in Asian countries and Indonesia was one of the country they visited.

Elite Fight Team was one of the team who went to the tryout. The tryout was separated into two sessions. The first was striking, candidates were to hit pads for 3 minutes while being reviewed by UFC representatives.

The second test is grappling test. Fighters were to spar or roll 3 minutes with another candidates who are not from the same team. This was the fun part. Our team has a distinguised grappling skills and dominated all our sparring partners.

After all the test, we were given a short briefing about how we will be notified regarding the try out.

Surely, if UFC comes to Indonesia. Our fight team is ready to represent Indonesia, our beloved country.

UFC Shogun vs Henderson 2 - Amazing WIN by Hendo

If you are a long time MMA fan, you would know who these two legends are : Mauricio Shogun Rua and Dan Henderson. They are both legends in mixed martial arts world. They were both former champions both in UFC and PRIDE.

They had fought each other before in November 19, 2011 at UFC 139. That fight was still mentioned as one of the greatest fight in UFC. Both fighters were knocking each other down at each round and they were both noticeably gassed out after fighting at a high intense speed but both of them showed their warrior spirit and kept going until the fifth round.
Henderson won that first fight via unanimous decision and it was no surprise that UFC will eventually book them again for a rematch.

The rematch that everybody has been waiting for was on UFC Fight Night in Natal, Brazil this morning on 24 March 2014.

Metamoris 3 : Royler Gracie vs Eddie Bravo

Eddie Bravo submitted Royler many years ago. The fight which catapulted Eddie into stardom.

Many people thought it was a fluke and Eddie certainly was also shocked that night that he was able to submit the legend of the Gracie family.

Years after that fight both bjj specialists have gone doing their business and improving their technique.
It is now time for them to rematch and show who is the better fighter.

Burn fat by martial art training

Martial art training used to be perceived as a rough sport. Nowadays people has come to realised that you can use martial art training just to get in shape.

You do not need to fight or compete in the martial art you are training. Like most members in Elite Training Camp, getting in shape is just their main priority.

Trainers at Elite can adjust their training program depending on each members goal.

Regular motivational speech after BJJ Class

At the end of every class, our Brazilian jiujitsu coaches Fransino Tirta and Leo Krishna always give a speech and motivations for their students.

These speeches are no regular speech, they are important for the development of the students.

BJJ is a very fun and yet complex martial arts. There are tons of techniques to be learnt and there are tons of details or variations of each techniques.

There is no shortcut in learning BJJ. You have to come to class and roll.

Both BJJ coaches at Elite TC are grappling champions in Indonesia. They have won numerous tournaments. Their experiences and teaching skills are the key of our team success.
